Nov. 20--CORALVILLE -- A North Liberty-based hotel chain on Wednesday announced plans to develop this Johnson County community's first upscale extended-stay hotel.

Kinseth Hospitality Companies will break ground this spring for a 90-room Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn at 10th Street and 25th Avenue, next to the Coral Ridge Mall. Completion is targeted for early 2010.

The Staybridge will feature suites with a fully equipped kitchen, full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave oven, cooktop stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, iron and ironing board.

Other amenities will include complimentary breakfast buffet, recreational facilities including pool, 24-hour fitness center and sport court, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet service and a 24-hour convenience shop.

"Staybridge Suites will be a first-class extended-stay hotel and fill a market niche that is currently not being fully met," said Bruce Kinseth, executive vice president of Kinseth Hospitality Companies. "We have been planning this type of hotel for quite some time and are very excited to be moving for ward." The hotel will be Kinseth Hospitality's fourth property in the Coralville area.
